HARRY, a seasoned CIA agent, wants to forget his years in the hot spots of the world and become his cover as a jazz club owner in Helsinki. NATASHA, a young KGB agent with more chutzpah than experience, wants to secure a future for herself amid the uncertainty of her floundering home country. Natasha is assignment to spy on Harry has blossomed into a love affair.

Their life is disrupted when an over-eager colleague of Harry's arrives to intercept a videotape encoded with state secrets en route from New York - its contents so hot that everybody who touched it is now dead. For Natasha, it could be a ticket out of the KGB and into the American Dream. As satellites hover overhead and the rusting Russian sub fleet leaks radiation nearby, Harry is left to stop Natasha from getting herself killed - or worse, leaving him for America.
