影片简介 兩個月前的上海。茵茵是一名二十歲的大學生,有一天當她從學校返回,發現与她相依為命的单身父親 — 劉情绪极度低落。劉参与房地产投资失败而输掉了家裡經營的小藥房。 正當劉对即將面临的灾难失魂落魄之時,茵茵決心要幫助父親摆脱困境。於是她藉由一封匿名”情書”來誘惑以綁架鄰居有錢人家的十七歲兒子 — 傅善。 打從一開始,傅善便曉得是他的鄰居茵茵綁架他,儘管年紀比她小,傅善早已喜歡茵茵一段時間了,茵茵的“綁架計畫”也因此進行的相當順利。對傅善來說,自己的父親是否愿意支付给茵茵所索求的那笔龐大贖金,也正可以测试出父親對他的愛。 结果兩人順利地取得了這比龐大的贖金。兩人沉浸在成功喜悅之中,歡慶的氣氛轉換為兩人浪漫的愛情。 傅善平安的回到家,劉也保住了他的藥房。一切原本應是圓滿的結果,但卻因為劉發現傅善其實早已曉得綁架他的人是茵茵而使得圆满结局产生突变。劉不知道兩個年輕人之間早已產生了愛情。為了不讓女兒的人生在監獄裡渡過或陷入更糟的處境,劉偷偷在傅善的茶裡下了毒藥,試圖殺人滅口,茵茵在最後一刻出現了,並極力將昏迷中的傅善救了回來 —— 然而在她的眼中,這位她一開始竭盡所能幫助的父親,如今卻成為一個殺人兇手。 |
Synopsis Shanghai, two months ago. YIN YIN, a 20-year-old university student, returns home from the campus to her single-parent father LIU. She finds her father worse for wear and learns that he has gambled away the family business, a modest pharmacy, in speculative real-estate investments. With foreclosure imminent and Liu paralyzed by his failure, Yin Yin comes up with a plan. She kidnaps Fu SHAN, their rich neighbor’s son, by luring him to a desolate hideout with the help of an anonymous love-letter. The kidnapping goes without a hitch – it soon turns out that Shan has known all along who his captor was, but played along as, despite being her junior, he has had his eyes on Yin Yin already for some time. And for him, the high price paid for his life is proof of his father’s love. By the time it is time for Shan’s father to deliver the ransom, the two are a team. Giddy with the success of their feat, their celebration turns to a romance. Shan returns home and the Liu pharmacy is saved. All would be well, if it wasn’t for the fact that Yin Yin’s father has learnt that Shan knows who the kidnapper was. Only, he doesn’t know about the young love. To save his daughter from a life in prison or worse, Liu attempts to silence Shan by poisoning him. Yin Yin comes in at the last moment to save her friend – but in her eyes the father she set out to help has now become a murderer. |

导演陈述 為親人及所愛的人,你願意为之付出多少? 在《初吻》裡,主要角色們以一種極端的方式去幫助他們所愛的人,然而卻被迫於現實環境的捉弄,以致最後形成意料之外的結局。本片的故事涉及了父子伦常之親情與男女恋人之愛情間的冲突,并懟家庭孝道 — 这个在西方社會中幾乎已被遺忘,但卻深植於東方社會的倫理道德觀念进行了探讨。 數年前當我第一次抵達上海,我被這城市極端的貧富懸殊、盲目地追求資本主義以及因快速的經濟發展產生出的無限張力感到震撼無比。一种想要表现它的冲动,燃起創作的激情 — 片中的主要角色們所處的这种特殊背景時空,是我写《初吻》這個劇本的主要动机之一。此外在上海的當地朋友,和那些穿梭在大街小巷的時光,及在夜晚品嘗道地的小籠包,上海確確實實已存留在我的皮膚裡。 《初吻》將是一部純與真的電影,猶如奇士勞斯(Krzysztof Kieslowski)、王家衛或英格瑪柏格曼(Ingmar Bergman)的純粹,而非教條式的商業影片。其純粹的程度如同奇士勞斯(Kieslowski)在《十誡》(The Decalogue)中省去繁瑣多餘的角色敘述;王家衛的《花樣年華》中純視覺化的描绘;柏格曼(Ingmar Bergman) 在《婚姻中的場景》 (Scenes from a Marriage)里的表演方式 — 那种对优秀剧本的彻底的信赖、以及不加任何修饰的纯粹表演。 |
Director’s Statement How far would you go to help a loved one? In “Kiss, His First,” the protagonists take extreme steps to help their loved ones, only to see how circumstance turns against them and the end result breaks, not heals. The story pits family love against romantic love, and explores filial duty, a notion almost forgotten in the West while remaining one the key characteristics of the societies in the East. When first visiting Shanghai , it took me by surprise. The contrasts, the fast capitalism, the dynamic feel fueled by an unprecedented economic growth. Showing this, what inspired me - a mere backdrop of the characters’ plight as it may be - is one of the key motivations for “Kiss, His First.” With all the local friends; the time spent walking down the alleys; the soup-dumplings after a night out I do have a lot of Shanghai under my skin. Kiss, His First shall be pure cinema. Pure in the sense of Kieslowski, Wong Kar Wai and Bergman, not to match the publicity-oriented principles of dogma. The Kieslowski of Decalogue for removing external flourishes from around his characters, the Wong Kar Wai of In the Mood for Love for the purity of his visuals, and the Bergman of Scenes from a Marriage, for trusting the power of well-scripted acting. |

Director’s Bio --- ilkka Jarvilaturi, producer / director / writer Jarvilaturi's last picture Spy Games starred Bill Pullman of Independence Day and Irène Jacob of Three Colors: Red. It premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, and is distributed in the U.S. by Lions Gate and overseas by Screen Media. Jarvilaturi won the Fassbinder Prize at Mannheim and a Silver Alexander in Thessaloniki for his U.S./Estonian actioner City Unplugged. The film was sold to some 30 countries around the world and was recently selected as the #2 after Silence of the Lambs on the London Times list of Best Crime Movies of All Time. Jarvilaturi's first feature Homebound screened at the MoMA New Directors New Films series; won the Nordic Film Prize for the Best Scandinavian Feature of 1990; the Grand prix du public in Belfort, France. Jarvilaturi studied contemporary literature and acting in Helsinki before earning an MFA in directing. He is a member of the European Film Academy. |
